Kiona Vineyards and Winery 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon

October 14, 2017

Appellation: Red Mountain

Four sites across Red Mountain, primarily the Kiona Estate's North Block and Williams-farmed Emory Vineyard near the end of Sunset Road, result in a strong backbone that delivers raspberry, blackberry and currant. The tannins work harmoniously in the background, letting the fruit shine through and creating a long finish. This earned a gold medal at the 2017 Great Northwest Invitational Wine Competition in Oregon.

Rating: Outstanding! by Great Northwest Wine. (14.5% alc.)

Price: $25

Production: 1,753 cases

Food pairings: Enjoy with beef or lamb-based dishes.
