H/H Estates is the reserve label for Coyote Canyon Winery in Prosser, whose estate vineyards are in the Horse Heaven Hills. The aromas promise a lush, grapy wine and delivers black cherries, blackberries, blueberries, spice and chocolate and a complex stony minerality expected out of fruit from the Horse Heaven Hills. At the close, there is black pepper and fine-grained tannins. This wine won a gold medal at the Great Northwest Wine Competition. (14.9 percent alcohol)

Food matches: Teriyaki beef, barbecued chicken, pork chops or huevos rancheros would all be great pairings with this succulent red wine.
