Local artist’s work to grace Goose Ridge Wine

Richland watercolor artist and teacher Chris Blevins is the Featured Artist for 2013 and her art will be shown at a special March 9 event showcasing the spring release of Goose Ridge Winery's Artist Series wine.

Ms. Blevins and the winemaker will be signing bottles of wine.

The event will be held Saturday, March 9 from noon to 5 pm. at Goose Ridge Estate Vineyards and Winery, 16304 Dallas Road, Richland, Washington. For more information call 509-628-3880.

Chris’ vibrantly colored, atmospheric watercolors have been selected for exhibit at over 18 juried shows. She achieved national recognition by being published in the January 2010 issue of The Artists Magazine, as one of the winners of their annual competition, Abstract/Experimental category.

Prints and cards of her artwork will be available for purchase at the winery. Chris is also going to teach Wine and Watercolor classes at the winery. A second party event is planned for the Fall Release in late September.
