The Tri-Cities Wine Festival staged its public tasting Nov. 7, 2009 at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick, Wash. It was the first time in the festival's 31-year history that it was held at the convention center. Upland Winery's 2007 Malbec won best of show. Ste. Michelle's 2008 Eroica Riesling was deemed by judges as the best white wine of the competition.
