Woodward Canyon's Small chairs Washington Wine Commission

The Washington Wine Commission appointed new commission members and officers at the monthly meeting for July.

The new officers are: Rick Small, owner of Woodward Canyon, chairman; John Bookwalter of J. Bookwalter Winery, vice chairman; and Peter Dow, Cavatappi Winery, treasurer.

Commission members include Dow and Bookwalter, Dick Boushey of Boushey Vineyards and Kent Waliser, general manager of Sagemoor Farmers.

Small takes over for Jeff Gordon of Gordon Brothers Family Vineyards, who served for two years.
