    I've spoken to a half-dozen winemaker in the past two days and asked each how the grapes were looking. I heard a lot of long sighs followed by concerns about when - or if - the grapes would ever ripen in the Northwest.

Wine pairing class set Dec. 6 in Grandview

GRANDVIEW -- Yakima Valley Community College is helping people learn which wine to bring to their holiday table this season.

The Christmas and Wine class will be offered from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 6.

Cost is $30 per person. The class will teach people which wines will complement their holiday meal. It will include food and wine tasting.
